Strength training at Coco’s Gym will teach you the fundamentals of lifting weights, an efficient safe technique and point you in the right direction to reaching your goals and enjoying the benefits lifting weights can provide you.

At Coco’s gym, we understand that most women are not looking to develop a large chest and arms unlike most men, but rather to strengthen and tone their entire body, especially legs and Glutes. We believe that Women should focus on a strength program similar to men but with the volume being altered. Both men and women’s muscles are physiologically identical, the only difference being in size. It is virtually impossible for a woman to get as bulky as a man, however you will develop muscle tone and definition. Strength training in woman not only builds stronger muscles but it also increases joint stability and reduces the loss of muscle mass when aging. 

Remember that building and maintaining muscle is the most effective way to burn fat and calories.
