Women should train the same as men
There is no reason for women to train differently than men. Both genders gain and lose muscle and fat the same way. Don’t get me wrong, men and women sometimes have different goals but these goals can be achieved with the same training program.
At Coco’s gym, we understand that most women are not looking to develop big chest and arms, but rather to strengthen and tone their entire body, especially legs and glutes which tend to be the hardest things to maintain as they age. Women should focus on a strength program similar to men where only the volume needs to be altered. Men and women’s muscles are physiologically identical, the only difference being in size. It’s virtually impossible that a woman would get as bulky as a man.
Remember that building and maintaining muscle is the most effective way to burn fat and calories
